With the Pennine Way<\/a><\/span> running through our moor the Upper Holme Valley provides some of the finest walking country imaginable with amazing views<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Fleece Inn<\/a><\/span>\u00a0at Holme is within walking distance and has excellent pub\/restaurant facilities, where visitors can enjoy wonderful hospitality combined with the finest cuisine. \u00a0It is open for food from Tuesday to Sunday each week. \u00a0The pub is also the home of The Fleece Pantry<\/a><\/span> which is open during pub opening hours and provides a good range of homemade breads, pies, cakes and other provisions, seasonal vegetables, milk, cream, eggs, hot and cold sandwiches.<\/p>\n

Holmfirth<\/a><\/span> is three miles away and provides a wide selection of eating places to suit every taste. Here you can find most of your everyday needs, a good supermarket and a good variety of gift and souvenir shops. \u00a0As well as being the home of ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, Holmfirth has an annual Music Festival<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0Food and Drink Festival<\/a><\/span>, Art Week<\/a><\/span>, Festival of Folk<\/a><\/span>, Brass Band Contest<\/a><\/span>, Tractor Rally<\/a><\/span>; weekly country markets<\/a><\/span>, and is also home to\u00a0Bamforth Postcards<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 Holmfirth Picturedrome<\/a><\/span> and The Civic, Holmfirth<\/a><\/span> host numerous concerts and other musical events – so no shortage of things to see and do!<\/p>\n

We are situated in the Peak District National Park<\/a><\/span> and are within easy reach of the Derbyshire Dales<\/a><\/span>, North York Moors National Park<\/a><\/span>, Yorkshire Dales National Park<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n
