Welcome to Lane Farm Holiday Cottages, two luxury four-star Gold Award winning cottages set on a working sheep and beef farm, situated at the northern tip of the Peak District National Park<\/a><\/span>, in the picturesque village of Holme<\/a><\/span>, on the outskirts of Holmfirth<\/a><\/span>, West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

Nestling on the south facing slope of the beautifully scenic Holme Valley, just below Holme Moss are Mount View and Trough Cottage. \u00a0With their own cobbled driveway, parking area, garden patio and superb views, these two fully centrally heated cottages provide luxurious ensuite accommodation and relaxation. \u00a0The cottages can be internally accessed for larger parties of up to eleven people.<\/strong> \u00a0Mount View sleeps six people and Trough Cottage sleeps five. \u00a0Ideal for family reunions, special celebrations, business courses etc.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Upper Holme Valley provides some of the finest walking country imaginable, with the Pennine Way<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>running through the moor. \u00a0For the avid cyclist, the cottages sit at the foot of Holme Moss, the iconic climb made famous by the 2014 Tour de France.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cottages are situated just three miles from Holmfirth, with its many pubs and restaurants to tempt even the most discerning palate. \u00a0Holmfirth is where the popular BBC TV programme \u2018Last of the Summer Wine\u2019 was filmed, five miles away in the Colne Valley, ITV\u2019s \u2018Where the Heart Is\u2019 was filmed and within 20 miles is Halifax where filming of ‘Gentleman Jack’, \u2018Happy Valley\u2019 and \u2018Last Tango in Halifax\u2019 took place.<\/p>\n

Holmfirth has an annual Music Festival<\/a><\/span>, Food and Drink Festival<\/a><\/span>, Art Week<\/a><\/span>, Festival of Folk<\/a><\/span>, Brass Band Contest<\/a><\/span>, Tractor Rally<\/a><\/span>; weekly country markets<\/a><\/span>, Holmfirth Film Festival<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span> Holmfirth Arts Festival<\/a><\/span>, and is also home to Bamforth Postcards<\/a><\/span>.
